In my early childhood years I wrote a lot. I loved to create short stories. I had a teacher who encouraged me to write as much as possible. I would write anything about anything. I would take a pad and pencil and climb up in my favorite tree in the front yard and just start writing. It was very peaceful. I starting straying away from writing in the beginning of high school when it became a chore. It became something that had to be done for a grade. I always did very well, but I knew I was not writing my best. I wrote what I had to to get the grade. I guess if I had to classify myself as a particular type of writer, it would have to be a writer on hold. I never as an adult thought of just writing for pleasure or relaxation. I was always to busy taking care of business. I do write down a lot of notes. I know if I write it, I will remember it.
